Manchester City Council

Manchester City Council is a key partner in the delivery of the project.

Our partnership supports the ambition to explore how Manchester’s public spaces can better reflect the people, communities and stories that have shaped the city, while creating opportunities for more voices and histories to be represented.

The National Lottery Heritage Fund

The project is supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, made possible thanks to National Lottery players.

This support helps us work with communities to uncover, record and share stories that have often been overlooked, creating new opportunities for people to connect with Manchester’s heritage and contribute their own experiences.

Greater Manchester Combined Authority

Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) supports collaboration and connection across Greater Manchester.

Working alongside GMCA helps place the project within wider conversations around culture, identity, belonging and how the histories of our communities are recognised and shared.

Crossing Footprints

Crossing Footprints brings a creative and community-focused approach to the project.

Through research, workshops and storytelling, they work with communities to uncover local experiences and perspectives, helping bring forward histories and voices that may otherwise go unheard.
